Story

A walk through the life of Hanson, a freshman and commission artist struggling to find social bonds throughout his new high school life. Follow him and the lives of seven others through a story of love and loss.

Each chapter will be revealed through the eyes of one of the eight students entwined through this story, showing overlapping events from different perspectives, as well as the thoughts of our colorful students as they go through their school lives...

---------------The Eight Students---------------

Hanson - Age: 15 (Freshman) Hanson is a young artist who lives off commissions online, living independently from his family in a small apartment on the outskirts of the city. He’s rather awkward, and doesn’t cope well with people.

Nathanial - Age: 16 (Freshman) A charismatic jockey guy who is close friends with Jacob and Rebecca. He’s very popular with the girls of his school, despite the fact that he doesn’t really have any interest in dating. Even his friend Rebecca has unrequited feelings for him, while Jacob yearns for Rebecca’s love.

Lucylia - Age: 17 (Junior) A very soft spoken young girl with a talent in fashion design. She doesn’t speak English super well, but she doesn’t let that stop her from pursuing her passions. She hasn’t had much luck with friends, growing skeptical of people throughout her life as she learned their true intentions. 

Jacob - Age: 16 (Freshman) A serious young man who works hard to help his family and friends, sticking to the narrow even in academics. It makes him kind of hard to be around him if you don’t know him, but once you get through his tough exterior you’ll learn he’s a really good guy. That said, his life takes a toll on both his body and mind. 

Rebecca - Age: 15 (Freshman) A cheery young girl with a childhood love for her friend Nathan. Despite the constant dejection, she still hasn’t given up. Even to the point of ignoring another… 

Grace - Age: 14 (Freshman) A quiet girl with a love for books. She has a body complex, believing herself unworthy of being liked by anyone because she never lets go of her flaws or mistakes. Despite it all, she still tries to uphold an appearance among her peers, hiding her blemishes and tears behind a wall, so very easily shattered. 

Forest - Age: 16 (Sophomore) A spunky girl who doesn’t take shit from anybody. Due to this she can be kind of aggressive, but she’s also very loving. She would die if she had to for her boyfriend Christian, or her bff Lucy. She works a job at a local restaurant. 

Christian - Age: 15 (Freshman) A nice guy who kind of slacks at school, but does everything he can to make his girlfriend happy and protect his friends. He has a serious side as well, that he uses when needed.
